This work has developed and deployed low cost short-range modules of wireless sensor network based on ZigBee standard and virtual instruments technology in order to monitor and control an quaculture system in real time. The system consists of smart sensor nodes, coordinator/gateway node and personal computer (PC). The smart sensor nodes monitor environmental parameters such as dissolved oxygen, water temperature, pH and water level using relevant sensors, transmit this information to the coordinator/gateway node through ZigBee network and receive control signals for actuator control. The coordinator/gateway node receives data acquired and sends command to PC in order to achieve human computer visualization interface. Los nodos sensores inteligentes monitorizan parámetros ambientales como el oxígeno disuelto, la temperatura del agua, el pH y el nivel del agua utilizando los sensores pertinentes, transmiten esta información al nodo coordinador/pasarela a través de la red ZigBee y reciben señales de control para el control de los actuadores. De plus, les gestionnaires d'installations de production intensive ont besoin d'informations precises et en temps reel sur l'etat et les performances du systeme afin d'optimiser leur potentiel. Ce travail a permis de developper et de deployer des modules a faible cout et a courte portee pour un reseau de capteurs sans fil, bases sur la norme ZigBee et la technologie des instruments virtuels, afin de surveiller et de controler un systeme aquacole en temps reel. Le systeme se compose de noeuds de capteurs intelligents, d'un noeud coordinateur/passerelle et d'un ordinateur personnel (PC). Les noeuds de capteurs intelligents surveillent les parametres environnementaux tels que l'oxygene dissous, la temperature de l'eau, le pH et le niveau d'eau a l'aide de capteurs appropries, transmettent ces informations au noeud coordinateur/passerelle via le reseau ZigBee et recoivent des signaux de commande pour le controle des actionneurs.
