Although chemical nematicides are effective in nematode control, their high costs, non availability at the time of need, the hazards they pose to human as well as on non-target organisms discourage users.The study was conducted on a field which naturally infested with the root knot-nematode.Incorporation of Poultry manure and rapeseed oil cake significantly suppressed root-knot nematode infestation, thereby enhanced fruit yield of tomato crop. Therefore, based on these results, farmers could be advised to apply poultry manure and rapeseed cake in root-knot nematode infested fields three weeks before transplanting the seedling or planting tomato for the management of root-knot nematode in easy and safe ways.…
