Away are the days of Megaphone and Capitulo magazines of the 1930s founded and directed by Sigfrido Radaelli, but the experience in literature and life traces over time that vast parable of events that, in his perspective, demands an awareness, a kind of confrontation, a testimony. This, precisely, has been decided by Radaelli when launching in the first days of 1966 the number 1 of Witness, who does not accept passive knowledge; he wants to know more than he knows; wants to investigate. What happens in this world today, in this second half of the 20th century? What happens in this land of the South, what happens in this continent, still virgin for everything but pain? What happens on the planet, beyond borders? Borders of what ? Very interesting magazine where all the intectuality of the time participate. Provenzano 306. Tarcus 61. (codc3).…

Encuadernación de tapa dura. Condizione: Muy bien. In-8º & In-4º. #1 March 1930 - #12 April 1934. (Compete set) very rare with the "introuvable" #1. 12 issues bound in 2 volumes. #11 & #12 are in wrappers. Directed by Sigfrido A. Radaelli, Erwin F. Rubens, Víctor Max Wullich. Megaphone Magazine comprises two different eras. The first period appears as a publication "of young university students", directed by Siegfried Radaelli. They are in total 7 numbers, of different formats (March 1930-April 1931), in which they collaborate Carlos Mouchet, Juan Oscar Ponferrada, Arturo Horacio Ghida, Homero Manzi (who still signed Manzione), Victor Max Wullich, the Uruguayan Cipriano Santiago Vitureira and Federico Aberastury. The second period consists of five numbers in a book format, where information and chronicles disappear to make way for larger literary works. The address is expanded with two more names: Erwin F. Rubens and Víctor Max Wullich. Some collaborators of the first period remain along with new ones: Antonino Salvadores, Enrique Mallea, Enrique Banchs, Francisco Romero, Vicente Fatone, Ulyses Petit de Murat, Angel Vasallo, Juan Oscar Ponferrada, Luis Emilio Soto, José Bianco, Jorge Luis Borges, Enrique Anderson Imbert. In number 11 (August 1933) a famous survey about Borges appeared: Drieu La Rochelle, Petit de Murat, Enrique Mallea (later to be signed by Mallea Abarca), Ignacio B. Anzoátegui, Raul Rivero Olazábal, Amado Alonso, Arturo Horacio Ghida, Homero M. Guglielmini, Tomás de Lara, León Ostrov, Lisardo Zía, Pedro Juan Vignale, Enrique Anderson Imbert, Sigfrido Radaelli and Erwin F. Rubens struggle to show us that Borges is the one and the opposite of the one. Provenance : This copy belonged to the Directos Sigfrido Radeelli, his initials S.A.R. in the lower part of the spine of each volume. Provenzano 160. Firmado por el autor.…
