¶ [EN] A brief historical study on the visit of King John III to Coimbra in 1550 and on the ceremonies with which the University received the monarch. This booklet gathers information about the king's stay in the city and the academic protocol observed during his reception, constituting a contribution to the history of the University of Coimbra during the reign of King John V and to the study of royal and academic ceremonial in the 16th century. Of interest to Coimbra's historiography. ¶ ⚑ Auto-translated via Google Translate.…

Condizione: Nuevo.
