It analyses and comments competently on Bhattacharya's universal brotherhood his humanism and his emphasis on the richness of human spirit to help others at the cost of one's own life and his advocacy of judicious synthesis of divergent values of life as an effective social panacea. This book also makes a critique on Bhattacharya's six novels depicting contemporary social political economic and religious realities of India before and after independence.
