"Agricultural extension is the backbone for rapid rural development through profitable agriculture especially to the rural poor in the developing world. In such situation, extension workers play a vital role in educating farmers to produce better crops and gain more income from farming. It has been observed that several technologies demonstrated and adopted by the beneficiaries could not last longer after withdrawal of the said programmers.
