A portrait of Black urban America and the people, culture, and lifestyles of Harlem during the 1930s by member of the Photo League, Aaron Siskind. Fifty-two black and white photos, certainly show the community struggling during the Depression years. This is #78 from a total 100 copies of the deluxe edition signed by Siskind. The book is also inscribed to Dave by Siskind. Light rubbing to the dust jacket bottom edge, corners.
