Za tu dobu se ji podarilo vybudovat veleuspesne imperium. Trippovi jsou milacci Ameriky - maji vlastni TV show a nove take knihu, se kterou vyrazeji na turne. Ovsem ma to jeden hacek: oblibeny a na prvni pohled dokonaly par se ve skutecnosti nemuze vystat. James McCann nedavno dokoncil vysokou a je z nej stavebni inzenyr. Neni to ale to, co si predstavoval, a tak se ocitl u Trippovych. A vlastne ani to neni to, co by si predstavoval - hned na zacatek se musi sbalit a jet s Trippovymi a Carey na nekolikatydenni turne po Statech. Prezit cestu bez sramu se zda byt docela ambiciozni plan. Carey s Jamesem, kteri si na prvni dobrou nepadli do oka, spolu museji pracovat na tom, aby se zaprve manzele nezabili, a za druhe, aby cela ta bublina nepraskla. Postupne ale prichazeji na to, ze kdyz nebudou pracovat proti sobe, ale naopak spoji sily, daji sanci nejen znacce, ale hlavne sami sobe vytvorit spolu neco nevsedniho.
