The magazine operated from 1953-1967, and was subject to a major obscenity lawsuit against the U.S. Post Office, which would make its way to the Supreme Court and uphold constitutional protection for pro-homosexual writing. A comprehensive archive of gay writing before Stonewall providing news, essays, fiction, and politics to a growing gay and lesbian readership.
