Gilt to type. Fraying to spine ends and corners with loss and boards showing, soiling to spine and general wear, dents and marks. Previous owner's address label and name and address to front endpapers along with very small bookstore sticker. Foxing to endpapers and hinges split with mull showing. Tissue covering frontispiece is torn. Wonderful black and white illustrations as well as color plates. 1st Printing thus.
