Both volumes are bound in contemporary full leather binding with five raised bands to the spine. The title and volume labels on the spine are lost although the volume numbers are blind stamped to the spine. The spines have chipping at the top and bottom and some edge cracking. The corners are bumped with some rubbing. Wale Family bookplate to the front pastedowns and the second volume has another family name, Lady Wale, to the front free endpaper.
