SIGNED in pencil by the artist on the inner flap of the rear wrapper. Jim Snitzer received his BA from The University of California, 1973 and his MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, 1976. Snitzer teaches photography and related printing courses at the University of Iowa, and was the founder of the Offset Workshop at the University of Iowa, which publishes limited edition artist's books. He has been constructing and photographing model landscapes for many years. An artists' book which relates the text and photos in a humorous manner; the production of the book was supported by a grant from the NEA.
