Small stain at the edges of the pages towards the back of the book. The contents page for the Undergraduate contributions has two names underlined - Q. Filius and Craig Raine. Designed by Jules Goddard and containing several pages of images by Victor Vasarely.

Snowden served as a spy for the Austrian empire during the First World War, and worked mostly in Russia and then in Hungary after the Russian revolution. His novel recounts his stint as a POW in Russia, his torture at the hands of the Hungarian authorities, and his escape to Italy. A blindstamp from a private owner on the title page, toning on the pastedowns; jacket with moderate edge wear and a crease on the rear flap.
