Mais il existe certaines caracteristiques communes: l'une est statistique (histogramme de projection) et l'autre est structurelle (nombre de trous); elles sont utilisees pour la reconnaissance de ces scripts. La structure prevue pour la detection de scripts multiples, comme le texte en anglais, les chiffres en anglais et en gurmukhi, et le texte en gurmukhi ou en pendjabi, est illustree dans ce livre.
