A 2-page manuscript portion of a second essay by Faison, precedes "On Sex," and includes a short unsigned critique by Bingham. Bigham's academy became one of the most prominent in the country, accepting students from many states; in 1845 he moved to a more rural site 10 miles from Hillsborough for his family, reducing the number of students from 100 to 30. Cf. "Bingham School" on NCpedia online. Folded (several short splits at folds). Still very good.
