Soule joshua compiler (1 risultati)

Full-Leather. Condizione: Good. No Jacket. Edition not Stated. This SCARCE very thick, very small 792 pp. book was compiled to be a complete book of hymns as recognized by the Methodist Episcopal Church, as demanded at a Convention in 1846. Indexed by Hymn, the book is very handleable inside and out, but especially for being 165 years old. As any such book of that age, it shows much wear, with rounded corners, a small outer split at the top front spine edge and a 1/2" piece is missing from the bottom front spine edge. BUT, that stated , the leather still shows it's original design, opens easily but WITHOUT loose boards, and you can riffle through the pages, the paper is so pliable yet. Quite a little treasure.
