Recent period-style paneled calf, gilt title to spine. A few minor scratches, faint tiny stain to rear board, bookplate of William Foyle to front pastedown. Moderate toning to interior, some soiling and edgewear to preliminaries and final leaves, numbering of paragraphs to margins beginning with p. 39, small later library stamp (St. Francis College, London) to general title page. $250. * Only edition, one of two issues, both in 1661. This volume consists of the first six sections of a book made up of a general introduction and reprints of pamphlets, each printed with its original imprint and publication date.
