(1650 - 1711) Evangelisch-lutherischer Geistlicher, wurde 1650 in Freiberg als Sohn des dortigen Superintendentenangelisch-lutherischer Geistlicher, wurde 1650 in Freiberg als Sohn des dortigen Superintendenten geboren, besuchte die dortige lateinische Schule und bezog 1668 die Universität Leipzig, wo er sich unter Rechenberg, Mencke und Thomasius namentlich mit philosophischen Studien beschäftigte. Nachdem er sich die Magisterwürde erworben hatte, wandte er sich nach Wittenberg, aber bald, nach seiner Mutter Tode, wieder nach Leipzig, wo er seine theologischen Studien abschloß und gleichzeitig philosophische Vorlesungen hielt. Nach einem kurzen Aufenthalte in Dresden, wo er sich vor dem Oberconsistorium der theologischen Prüfung unterzog, wurde er 1678 Diakonus in Oberwiesenthal. Nachdem er mehrere Berufungen in andere geistliche Stellungen ausgeschlagen hatte, wurde er 1681 dritter Hofprediger in Dresden, und neun Jahr später Superintendent in Leisnig, wo er 1711 starb.
