Translates four contemporary articles on education by North Vietnamese authors: Huynh Phan, "Young People and Education"; Tran Huang Tich, "A Special School"; Pham Ké, "Half Study - Half Work Youth"; Tran Huu Tuoc, "Teaching Science in Vietnamese"; Hoang Minh Nghiem, "For The Children's Future;" and Nguyen Quang Hy, "Libraries in the Service of Science and Technology." Includes a section, presumably written by Spragens, on "Liberation Textbooks," with examples from the texts. Spragens was an expatriate American journalist who wrote prolifically on the Viet Nam conflict from a left perspective.
