Condizione: Very Good. 2nd Edition. First published in 1897, this is a very nice copy of the rarely seen 1925 edition of phrenologist Stackpool Edward O'Dell's intriguing study into phenology, an immensely popular subject in late 19th and early 20th centrury Britain. Pages are excellent: aside from an inscription on front FEP they are lovely and clean, with no markings notes or foxing. Binding is excellent. Red covers retain their brightness with no marks or crumpling, and the spine though a little faded still contains nice bright gilt coloured text. Advert for related books and study are on the final page. The book has some illustrations at the start. A very nice copy of this scarce edition.
