"Illustrated by one hundred and eighteen full page halftone plates reproduced from original photographs: together with one hundred and twenty-three line engravings, made specially for the work by Mrs. Stanley Charles Nott from selected world famous Chinese jades. Prepared as a handbook for visitors to the Jade room of the Norton Gallery and School of Art, West Palm Beach, Florida." From the library of Arthur W.S. Herrington (1891-1970). Herrington was an engineer and manufacturer who developed the Jeep and other vehicles for the US military in the Second World War. After serving in WWI, Herrington joined forces with Walter Marmon to found Marmon-Herrington, which produced the jeep, tanks, armored cars, and numerous civilian vehicles. This is an oversized or heavy book, which requires additional postage for international delivery outside the US.
