Lowell Jackson Thomas (1892¿1981) was an American writer, broadcaster, and traveler who sprung to fame narrating lectures and films highlighting T. E. Lawrence (1888-1935) WWI exploits and helping to make "Lawrence of Arabia" a household name. In 1952 a new movie making technique, Cinerama was released. Fred Waller(1886-1954) was an American cinema photographer inventor who developed a film projection technique known as Cinerama which fills the spectator's field of vision beyond a narrow screen. Thomas enthusiastically embraced the concept. He produced the first movie/documentary in Cinerama: 'This is Cinerama', the third: 'Seven Wonders of the World', and the fourth: 'Search for Paradise' in this format in 1956, with a 1957 release date. This book was released to promote the movie ' Seven Wonders of the World' and the Cinerama concept. Text is illustrated with over 100 photographs, many in full color.
