Después de poner una cantidad suficiente, se le decía que sacudiera el papel sobre el pupitre para quitar la sémola innecesaria. Tras meses de pruebas y decepciones, se encontró la forma de aprender de Jassan. En lugar de decirle al niño: 'Si mostraras la atención necesaria más a menudo y no dudaras, te habría ido mejor en la escuela', sería más eficaz decirle: 'Creo que te esfuerzas, pero creo que el problema puede deberse a que las formas que utilizas para aprender no son las mejores'.
