Das Buch zeigt an Hand der einzelnen kirchengesetzlichen Bestimmungen die Entwicklung dieser Teildienstverhältnisse auf. Ferner erfolgt eine systematische Klassifikation der einzelnen Erscheinungsformen der Teildienstverhältnisse, durch welche der anzutreffende 'verwirrend bunte Strauß kirchlicher Rechtsbildung' entflochten wird. Außerdem nimmt der Autor im Rahmen einer tatsächlichen Bestandsaufnahme eine statistische Betrachtung hinsichtlich der Teildienstverhältnisse vor, die durch Schaubilder im Anhang veranschaulicht wird. Der Schwerpunkt der Studie liegt auf der Untersuchung der rechtlichen Zulässigkeit der Teildienstverhältnisse. Insoweit werden die jeweiligen kirchengesetzlichen Ausgestaltungen am Maßstab der staatlichen Rechtsordnung gemessen, wobei dieser vom einfachen Landesrecht über das Bundesverfassungsrecht und das Europäische Gemeinschaftsrecht bis zum Völkerrecht reicht. Schließlich wird der Frage der Vereinbarkeit der Teildienstverhältnisse mit höherrangigem kirchlichen Recht nachgegangen.; Dissertationsschrift.
