Upon his release, he emigrated to the US & later became a spy for the Soviets. In 270 pages, preceded by a Foreword by Lincoln Steffens. A FIRST EDITION, First Printing from 1935 (with publisher's logo to copyright page), this hardcover has tan cloth over boards lettered in black to front & spine. Condition is Good+: exterior soiled spots to front board & light bleached spots to rear, modest rubbing to extremities & bumped corners, with slight fraying. The interior is very clean, binding strong & straight. Pages moderately tanned, commensurate with age, but unmarked; 2 pages in rear show small chips & creasing to lower edge. NO DJ (missing).
