(From the dust jacket blurb) Book is fine with only light signs of wear, no marks or visible damage. Dust jacket is damaged in two places. The top of the spine at the rear is missing a small triangular piece and a chunk is torn out of the middle of front spine but still attached.Nice copy. Probably a book club edition even though there is nothing so stating but there is also no printing information on the copy right page other than the 1943 date.
