There were only about 90 members of the association. The Irishman stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel, Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale, and Anna Paquin and tells the story of an aging hitman (De Niro) as he recalls his time with the mob and his complex relationship with Jimmy Hoffa (Pacino) during the 1950s - 70s. The Irishman had its world premiere at the 57th New York Film Festival on September 27, 2019, and had a limited theatrical release on November 1, 2019, followed by digital streaming on Netflix starting on November 27, 2019. From November 1 to December 1, 2019, The Irishman was screened at the Belasco Theatre in New York City, making it the first film to ever screen in the Belasco's 112-year history.
