The Academy went on regularly to publish expanded and upd…ated versions of these rules but as far as is known this was the first time the spelling rules were formally tabled. According to the Voorwoord in the 1937 5th edition "Die eerste Spelreels van die Akademie het in 1915 die lig gesien". This is therefore a foundational text in the development of Afrikaans. Exceptionally scarce.
