Wei…tere Herausforderungen sind eine große Preisdifferenzierung und Intransparenz von Beschaffungsmärkten sowie hohe Prozeßkosten, insbesondere im Bereich der C-Teile. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, die Möglichkeiten der Nutzung von Internet-Technologien zur Optimierung von Einkaufs- und Beschaffungsprozessen aufzuzeigen.Es folgt eine kurze Einführung in die Materie des Internet sowie des elektronischen Handels. Die Einordnung des Electronic Procurement innerhalb der Unternehmensaktivitäten leitet den Hauptteil der Arbeit ein. Es werden jeweils traditionelle Ansätze mit den neuen internetbasierten Lösungen verglichen. Zunächst wird auf die Aspekte der internetbasierten Kommunikation für den Beschaffungsbereich eingegangen. Weitere wichtige Bereiche sind: Beschaffungsmarktforschung, Bedarfspublikation im Internet, Desktop Purchasing im Rahmen der dezentralen Beschaffung und die Untersuchung der Formen und Mechanismen von elektronischen Marktplätzen.Desweiteren beschäftigt sich die Arbeit mit den Problemgebieten des betrieblichen Einsatzes der Internet-Technologien und ihren Lösungsansätzen im Zusammenhang mit rechtlichen Fragen und Sicherheitsaspekten.
