All 12 color plates are present; most are detached, and the last two have been cut out and have been neatly trimmed to a smaller size (unless this is how they were issued? ). There is a bit of edgewear at the fore-edge of a couple of the detached plates, that does not affect the image. The plates are somewhat age-toned, but the colors are still quite good. One has tape residue on the verso, and has a 2" closed tear at the upper fore-edge (not affecting the main image). The page edges are age-darkened The text pages are a bit age-toned and there is foxing to some pages, mostly toward the front and rear. The foxing hasn't afflicted the plates however.
