The text has been edited by Geach who also provides a preface. The three articles in the volume were originally published in periodicals in 1918 and 1923. The boards are clean and unmarked. Two small dark marks to the fore edges of the pages. The pages are unmarked. The jacket has browning to the spine and one small dark stain to the rear panel. First printing.

The original unclipped blue dust jacket shows a bit of rubbing to the four corner tips and spine ends, and one tiny spot. They were originally intended as chapters of a book, to be called "Logische Untersuchungen," which Frege never finished.---gleaned from the flap.
