Hardcover. Condizione: Good. 30 volumes, mostly uniformly bound in green cloth, with black lettering and decoration to covers. Printing dates range from 1897-1914, though all but 2 of the volumes were printed from 1902 or before. 24 volumes are bound in green, 4 in blue (varying shades), and 2 (Bell's Handbooks to Continental Churches) in red cloth. Volumes are essentially the same in measurements and all are nicely illustrated in black and white. 28 of the volumes contain the bookplate of Earl Morse Wilbur. Overall, this is an attractive set, with volumes admitting to varying degrees of wear, including general light to medium wear and light soiling to exterior, minor bumps to extremities of some boards and pages of a few volumes. Foxing is present, but mainly limited to front and back matter. All volumes have sound bindings, save for 2 books which are slightly shaken and admit to splitting at hinges. These do not appear the worse for wear. Generally speaking, there are a small number of pencil marks to interiors, though mostly just a few stray marks. Mild tanning to paper. Overall, a nice copy of a set that is rarely offered with so many numbers from the series.
