Im ersten Teil geht es um Hypothesen und Methoden um das Wissen der Kinder in Bezug auf das Verbenlernen zu testen. Im zweiten Teil geht es um den Erwerb der passenden Argumentstruktur der Verben und wie dieses Lernen funktionieren kann. Dieses Buch ist eines der ersten zu diesem Thema in deutscher Sprache.
