It also appears to be the first work devoted to Keller published in Russia. What makes it particularly valuable to research is that the translation is not attributed, but would appear to be an abridgment and a free adaptation, as the English-language version (1903) ran to more than 400 pages. No institutional holdings in OCLC or KVK, nor any mention of the publisher, E.V. Malysheva. If OCLC is to be believed, no complete Russian translation of Keller's autobiography appeared until 2003.
