After that the points whose intensity is changing are removed by the outstanding Speed Up Robust Feature (SURF) calculation, which is invariant to scale, interpretation, and pivot. Then Epipolar geometry is applied where fundamental matrix is used to obtain the 3D points. Using Gradient Field and X, Y and Z point cloud the 3D appearance of the coral reef images is built. Here the report mainly concentrates on 3D modelling approach, utilizing a feature detection technique called SURF.
