Softcover. Condizione: Very good. Quarto. (vi), 9pp + (9)ff. A noble rendition of the Arthurian cycle, beginning with Meriwether's adaptations of various tales including Arthur's origins, the battle of Balan and Balin, Lancelot and Guinevere's tryst, the quest for the Grail, and Arthur's death at the hand of Mordred. What follows are nine plates of stiff card, from which the reader can cut free-standing figures of the various characters as well as three walls of a castle. These can then be set up in front of the scene revealed at the interior of the dust wrapper, creating a dynamic, ready-made stage on which to recreate the myths of Britain. Bound in pictorial wrappers somewhat toned, as throughout, with edges slightly rubbed. Dust wrapper moderately sullied, with sunning and mild chips to spine. Still in original glassine, quite fragile. Quite scarce, especially in this unused condition.

A near-very good book, unused, with splitting and fraying starting at spine tips, and two-inch tear to front joint. Early gifter's inscription, and previous owner's name inked to cover of booklet.
