Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. 1st Edition. Apparent First Edition (NAP). More than 200 photographs. Impersonally inscribed and signed by the author on the title page: 'Best Wishes, Joan Roth'. The book is in very nice condition. The black covers are very clean. There is a thin line of sight color fading just off the front bottom edge and spine's bottom edge. The gilt lettering on the front cover is nicely bright. There is a small crease a little below the top edge of the spine. The cover edges and corners are in excellent shape, no rubbing. The book is square and the spine straight. However, if you pull or push at either the front or rear cover from the side, the spine will shift a little bit. Nevertheless, the pages are nicely, tightly bound throughout. There is a thin crack/space at the juncture between the last two pages before the rear end paper. The crack goes down about 45% of the way from the top edge exposing the webbing underneath. Both of these facing pages are tightly bound from top to bottom. The junctures between the covers and their end papers are without issue. The interior of the book is in very nice condition. The pages are exceptionally clean. Scrolling through, I haven't found any instances of soiling. I didn't see any creasing. There are no markings. No attachments of any kind. And the author's signed inscription represents the only writing to be found anywhere. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. I have always had it in a fitted protective cover. I tried to avoid glare and reflection in taking the photos of the jacket, hard to be perfectly successful in that effort. The jacket is very clean. I don't see any soiling. I don't see any tears., Really no conspicuous wear. The flaps are also very clean. There is a small crease just below the rear flap's top corner. The jacket is not priced or clipped. Amongst other photographs, there are ones of Jews living in Ethiopia, in Yemen, in India, in Morocco, in Bukhara, in Eastern Europe, in Russia, in Ukraine, and of course in Israel.
