The introduction (in English) discusses the history & sources of the Minnelehre, which, he considers banal but still worthy of consideration as an example of the common culture of the period. The poem itself is presented only in German, with considerable footnoted comparisons; notes, brief glossary, brief bibliography. Undated, privately printed in Boston in 1931 (according to the NYPL); the work was published by Droz in Paris in 1934. Paperback, as pictured. Light wear, minor stains, light fading, spine creased, ink note on first page. Text clean; lxxvii, blank, 125, blank, [2] pages. Size: 5½" by 8½".
