Allegedly, only 150 copies were sold, the rest were pulped. Plates illustrate scent bottles, bonbonniers, etuis, seals, and statuettes made at the Chelsea Factory & Derby Chelsea in the 18th century. Text block and pages are in fine condition except for library stamp to title page, copyright page, and final page. Exterior cloth has light rubbing to extremities, neat library number on spine in white ink. 9 3/4 x 12 1/4 inches. 194 pages plus plates and index.
