Aggiungi al carrelloFirst Edition. One of 500 numbered copies, this being copy no.3. Slim octavo (22cm); mimeographed sheets, stapled into pictorial card wrappers; 32pp. This copy inscribed by editor Marvin Malone on the colophon, to the long-running Irish literary journal Icarus: "For Icarus (p.24) / With appreciation / M.Malone." Light wear and h…andling, subtle toning along spine-fold, with some dust-soil to wrappers; contents clean; Very Good+. An early issue of Marvin Malone's long-running literary journal, and Bukowski's second appearance in WR, featuring the first appearance of his poems "For Jane" and "The Sharks." A small but significant copy; Icarus was the only outfit to take out ad space in this issue, and Malone was clearly grateful. Dorbin C176-177.
