Governor Robert Love Taylor (1850-1912) represented Tennessee in the US House of Representatives from 1879 to 1881, served two terms as Governor of Tennessee from 1887 to 1891 and from 1897 to 1899, and was elected to the US Senate serving from 1907 till his death in 1912.
