Original printed drab wrappers; small tears to the edges and backstrip. Apparently the only edition, with an illustration to each tale: Solomon Wiseman, Johnny Badboy, Billy Blossom, Th…e Cat and the Fish, and Nancy Wheatley. Osborne Collection, p. 949, suggesting the date.
