The legendary Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, here as a hefty double issue for Winter, 2003. Quarto, photo-illustrated perfect-bound wraps (no staple-binding for a presentation this thick), 216 pp. + 4 unnumbered. And, yes, it really is a double issue, with TWO tables of contents - see scans of those - and even a lead on-topic short fiction piece by Carl Hiaasen, "Tart of Darkness": "A demented photographer has hijacked SI's hottest cover ever. Petra Nemcova, May Andersen, Reka Ebergenyi, Bridget Hall, Marisa Miller, Sarah O'Hare, Ana Beatriz Barros, Isabeli Fontana, Michelle Alves, Yamila Diaz-Rahi, Fernanda Tavares, Ekaterina Gordeeva, Marissa Miller, Daniela Pestiva, Jessica White, Audrey Quock, Rachel Hunter, Molly Sims et alia grace these fortunate pages - Rachel Hunter as a fold-out, in fact. One of the best ever of the swimsuit issues, and certainly one of the thickest as well. This example is of the highest possible grade. Jeeze. Lpr3. …
