Canadian filmmaker Bill Brodie's directorial debut, an incisive look at the Vietnam War through the eyes of Terry Whitmore, an African American US Marine who sought asylum in Sweden after being wounded in action near Con Thien. Whitmore became one of the few African American veterans to write about the experiences which drove him to desert, publishing a memoir, "Memphis-Nam-Sweden: The Autobiography of a Black American Exile," in 1971. Shot on location in Sweden. One photograph 8 x 10 inches, the other photograph 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus overall, one with light soil to the top edge.
