Text is legible throughout. Some issues present such as cracking, inscriptions, inserts, moderate foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Minor splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Lettering is darkened.…

Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Poor. Pictorial board hardcover, with black lettering and images on the spine and front board, in a heavily worn and torn dust jacket. There is a Sunday School presentation bookplate on the front endpaper, dated 1945. Presentation is to, "Margaret Such". The next page has an in inscription, " Miss C. Monday, 14, Fulney Rd, Nether Green, Sheffield." The Sunday School is: "Christ Church, Dore, Sheffield, Superintendent is M.A. Thorpe; Vicar is: Ernest G. ? Sharpe, (I think). There is a tear on the jacket along the spine edge which continues half way across the back cover. Edge and corner wear and approx. 1 sq. inch of loss on the jacket at the bottom of the spine.
