One of the few earlier photo essays of these fine, glaciated peaks. Manning gives detailed accounts of his tramps & climbs, including an ascent of Mt Shuksan with unplanned bivouac near summit. Photos & text include Glacier Pk, Dome Pk, Spider Mtn, Shuksan & vicinity, Luna Cirque, Mt Baker, Mt Challenger, Pickets, etc. The book measures 31cm tall x 25cm, and has 143 pages, 16 color & 84 b/w photos.
