The illustrations are in better shape than the pages opposite, though these are largely unmarked. Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. 1st Edition. First edition, first impression. No d /w. A very decent copy of this collectable title. Neat owner's name to verso of front endpaper else nice and clean throughout. The boards are unmarked and not bumped . Gilt titles and vignette stand out well.

The young man who owned this book has seen fit to write his name on it twice on the front endpaper, but thereafter the text and illustrations are in really nice order. The d / w. is missing an irregular piece of a little over a square inch from the bottom of the rear panel, but the front panel is complete and clean with minor rubbing and two half inch repairs.
