It chronicles the life and works of Ignaz Pferrerkorn, the Jesuit who coordinated the Christian conversion of local Indigenous tribes throughout Northwestern Mexico. The pages are vellum and in very good condition. The book is straight and solid. Boards are clean and the gilt title on the front board is in almost new condition. The dust jacket shows shelf wear and has some staining on the front BUT it is present. All pages are clean and unmarked. A map is connected showing different tribes.
