    Un volume in-folio (35, 5 x 27, 5 cm), relié, dos rouge toilé, plats marbrés avec sur le Ier plat une grande pièce de titre rouge avec le titre en lettres dorées: GUERRES DE LA REVOLUTION FRANCAISE ET DU PREMIER EMPIRE. Aucune page de titre à l'intérieur ni d'indications sur l'éditeur. On trouve seulement 73 reproductions de grandes oeuvres picturales militaires ou apparentées (Regnault, Vernet, Gros, Desenne, Gérard, Vernet, Clodion, David, etc.), dont 60 en pages simples et 13 sur double-pages (celles)ci étant montées sur onglet). Il s'agit probablement de l'Atlas des volumes de texte écrits par "Une société d'écrivains militaires et civils" . En tout cas le choix des reproductions semble exhaustif et ne présente aucun manque visible. Chaque reproduction (en noir) est évidemment gravée et lithographiée au trait sur papier spécial . Exemplaire en TRES BON ETAT.
