Hardcover. Condizione: Good. No Jacket. 6th Edition. History of Philosophy by Alfred Weber is a hardcover edition published in 1896 by Charles Scribner's Sons. This is the authorized translation by Frank Thilly from the sixth French edition, preserving the depth and detail of Weber's renowned work. The book contains xi + 630 pages and offers a comprehensive exploration of philosophy's historical development. The book is in Good condition. The original forest green cloth cover is adorned with a gilt title on the spine. Notably, the spine cloth is gapped at the head, a common occurrence in thicker, older volumes of this nature. Light creases are visible along the spine cloth, with additional light wear at the corners and spine ends. The edges of the text block and interior pages exhibit gentle tanning consistent with its age. A small ink stain is present on the bottom edge of the text block (front corner) but is not visible from the front edge. The front hinge has been repaired to maintain durability, and there is light abrasion on the front flyleaf. Despite these imperfections, the interior pages remain clean and unmarked. Please note, this edition does not include a dust jacket. The book will be carefully wrapped in bubble-wrap and placed in a sturdy box to ensure protection during shipment.
